Gas Scooter Guide
When you purchase a new gas scooter, you are counting on that new gas powered scooter to last a long time and provide several hours of enjoyment. In order to give you the best information, our technical team has put together this guidelines section to assist with the most common situations that we have found in our years of experience dealing with all sorts of gas motor scooters.
Though we have provided a lot of information, we realize that these are not the only issues that you may encounter. Our gas scooter tech department is committed to bringing you the most up to date information, as a situation arises that can benefit our customers as a whole, it will be added here. So keep checking back for new solutions to keep your gas powered scooter running in top condition.

Before operating your new gas scooter:
I. General Safety Precaution
Gas Scooters can be hazardous to operate. Please operate it with the following safety instruction in mind, if you fail to take proper precautions, a collision or fall may easily occur and serious injury is possible. If you have any doubts to the proper operating procedures or conditions of your gas powered scooter, Turn off the engine and walk or push your gas motor scooter to a safe location. All gas scooters should be ridden by persons with excellent vision, balance, coordination, reflexes, strength, and good decision making ability.
1. Please read this manual and all safety labels carefully, know about its function, maintenance and service method completely, and follow correct operating procedures.
2. Minors should never operate without adult supervision.
3. Never operate your scooter on surfaces, which are slick or unstable due to dampness, loose gravel, etc.
4. Never operate your scooter on any public street, road, or highway where forbidden.
5. Never operate your scooter without wearing proper safety equipments, including helmet, shoes, protective clothing and or pads.
6. Never operate your scooter under influence of magnet, alcohol or drugs.
7. Always ride with both hands on the handles.
8. Never operate at excessively fast speed. Proper speed is determined by terrain, visibility, operating condition, and experience.
9. Never attempt wheelies, jumps, or other stunts.
10. Always inspect your scooter prior to each use to make sure it is in safe operating condition. Follow inspection and maintenance procedures and schedules described in this manual.
11. Never operate your scooter on steep hills or inclines that can deter control.
12. Do not turn at excessive speeds.
13. Maintain proper tire pressure as described in this manual.
14. Fuel is highly flammable. Keep it safe away from any source of fire, especially when refueling.
15. Engine and muffler get hot while in use. Do not tough.
16. Keep all body parts and clothing away from belts or chains.
II. Main Parts Description

III. Assembly of the Whole Body
1. Unpacking: Check list against packing list.
2. Install handle bar
3. Tighten handle bar
4. Adjust the saddle (seat) and tighten it
5. Adjusting front brake: only when stop function is not good, normally only adjust the screw, when you need more adjustment, brake cable must be loosened and adjusted to normal position, then tighten its nut.
6. Adjusting rear brake: ditto item 5

IV. Check Prior to Riding and Caution
1. Check if the fuel door is flexible, check the applicability and reliability of the front and rear brakes. If it is not working properly adjust them before riding.
2. Air pressure for front and rear tires should be 0.5-0.6, too much pressure can result to a rough ride. Tire pressure that is too low will affect the speed and increase fuel consumption.
3. Transmission parts should be checked and adjusted frequently. Filling lubricant regularly makes the transmission working smoothly.
4. Check the bolts and nuts and make sure they are not loose, please tighten if necessary.
5. Keep body clean and away from moisture, high temperature and corrosives.
V. Operating Instructions
A. Manual Start-up
1. Precaution: check stop switch, spark plug and fuel in-line and fuel return-line to make sure they are connected properly. Mix unleaded gasoline and (good quality)2-cycle engine oil in the ratio of 25:1, and then fill into the fuel tank. If fuel is not mixed to the proper ratio, the engine performance may decrease or damage to the engine may occur.
2. Press the clear priming bulb underneath the carburetor until fuel can be seen in the clear plastic fuel return line.
3. Close choke valve.
4. Pull the starter grip briskly and return gently, engine should start within a few pulls. Let the engine rev for a short while, open the choke valve and then you can ride the scooter.
5. If there is any difficulties on start-up, open throttle a little, return oil door handle, press it a little, pull up start handle, start engine then close air door adjuster (choke valve).
6. Proper riding: when start-up and climbing a slope, accelerate slowly.
7. Stop: turn it off at main switch.
B. Electrical Start-up
1. Precaution: check if fuel-in and fuel-return lines are connected properly. Mix unleaded gasoline and a good 2-cycle engine oil in the ratio of 25:1 and then fill it into the fuel tank.
2. Press the small priming bulb underneath the carburetor until no air in the fuel inline (color) and fuel can be seen the clear plastic fuel return-line.
3. Close choke valve (air door adjuster).
4. Pull rear brake handle tightly.
5. Turn on main power (after power on, turn on front light, front light and confirm it is working).
6. Press electric button, engine working
(a) If engine is running, release the button quickly.
(b) If start-up is hard, prime it again and press harder on start-up button.
7. Open choke valve (air door adjuster).
VI. Maintenance and Service
1. Check all screws, bolts and fasteners for tightness. Fill fuel in time if fuel is not enough. Check fuel for leakage.
2. After cold start-up, warm it up for 3-5 minutes, then add load.
3. Running of engine is very important, after 20 hours of operation, air door regulator should not be opened fully, a thorough maintenance is needed after 20 hours of operation. Thereafter, check air filter every 20 hours. Clean spark plug and regulate the gap of spark to 0.6-0.7 mm. Clean fuel tank after every 50 hours of operation. De-carbonize for proper combustion and silencer. Check brake cable connection.
4. For a longer engine life, fill fuel tank with recommended fuel & 2-cycle oil brand and mix in recommended ratio.
5. If engine is abnormal, please have your engine repaired by an expert.
VII. Troubleshooting
A. Difficult to Start-up
1. Check if fuel in-line goes smoothly, and if there is bubbles in it, press small cup to pump fuel into carburetor.
2. Check the spark plug and wiring for connection.
3. Check the fuel mix ratio, or for clogged gas filter.
4. Check if air filter is clogged.
5. Check the stop switch for shot circuit.
6. If you attempt to start the engine too many times, there might be excess fuel in the cylinder. Remove spark plug and allow excess fuel to evaporate. Reassemble and retry.
7. Check the gap between spark plug is 0.6-0.7 mm, decarbonize, and Connect spark plug back.
8. Connect spark plug guide line, pull start grip to see if spark is produced.
B. Engine cannot speed up
1. See if choke is open.
2. Check if fuel line is free.
3. Adjust air oil density screw.
C. Engine can start-up, but stop while working
1. See if air filter is clogged
2. See if silencer and fuel line is blocked.
3. Adjust idling speed screw.
D. Engine is lacking power
1. Vent on fuel tank cover is blocked.
2. Fuel line has precipitates (sediment), leakage or fuel filter is blocked by dirt.
VIII. Storage Procedure
To store engine, temperature should be between -20C to 50C, moisture less than 80%, good ventilation, isolated from easy-burning or corrosive chemicals. If you plan not to use your scooter for a long time, please empty the fuel tank and start-up the engine to combust all fuel in the carburetor and remove the fuel pipe.
When to start up the gasoline scooter, the instantaneous current (spark) is approximately 50A, to avoid damaging the battery, the following attention must be paid:
1. All new scooters are charged from the factory, however, by reason of long transportation or long before sale periods, the power of the battery will be reduced automatically, so we suggest that you start up the scooter manually on the first week of riding (running time about 1 hour per ride) so that the battery of the scooter can be charged automatically.
2. One should not start up the scooter frequently per ride, otherwise it is possible to cause too much consumption of power of the battery.
3. Short distance ride is not enough to recharge the battery automatically, so it is necessary to start up the scooter sometimes manually in order to have a long life of electric start-up to the gasoline scooter.
4. In cold weather or where the scooter is not operated in warm conditions, manual start-up is suggested.
5. The time of engine start-up should be less than 5 seconds. If the engine cannot be started within 5 seconds, please have a pause of 10 seconds before the next start-up trial, so that the battery does not lose the power too quick.
6. If the battery is at low charge for a long time, it will not be possible to recharged automatically, in such a situation, please fix one charger with 12V separately and use the charger to recharge the battery to make the electric start-up work again.
