Scooter Laws
Scooter Laws vary by state and are currently changing, especially as Scooters gain popularity across the United States. Rather than provide you with outdated information, we recommend that you contact the following agencies:
Your state legislature to learn what the Scooter laws are in your state.
Your local legislature to learn what the Scooter law are in your area. (Certain cities have different Scooter laws than the state Scooter laws. Be sure to check your local Scooter laws, especially if you live in California or New York, the places that have the most Scooter laws on the books.)
Your local Department of Motor Vehicles to learn what the registration requirements are in your area.
Your insurance agent to learn what the insurance requirements are in your area.
NOTE: Please research your Scooter laws carefully. Since Scooter laws vary from state to state, you are solely responsible for determining the legality of your purchase in your state. We will not issue any refunds based on claims of unsatisfactory legal status.
